As I lay with my head on my pillow
I look up to the ceiling and stare out into the void
My mind created and then self inflated
Liberating the night
Lit by the lights of the full moon and the neon in my eyes
But the moon shines differently
In the patterns of my mind
As I lay with my arms softly flowing
Into the eyes of indifference slowly rising
From peripheral vision
And into my gaze, I think I've been here for most of my days
And the lights shine bright from my ceiling and into my eyes
While things slowly turn
With the patterns of my mind
As I lay with my thoughts overlapping
My mind overflowing and spilling out into time
I see the gears of all my years
Slowly turning
And churning away at my thinking
Have I lost my mind or is there one still out there to find?
And a look of indifference washes over my face and my eyes
Laced with my ignorance
Are the patterns of my mind
A wide blending of simple landscaping with warm, dreamy lines across the planes of instrumentation. The space it creates with all the pleasing vocal melodies in a few places reminds me of Alan Parsons Project. It flows extremely well together. I really love the developments through production and how the sounds swirl. A blissful headphone experience. I really enjoyed listening all the way through. Congrats - looking forward to your new music! markmayea77
